Nicole D. Katsorhis

Nicole D. Katsorhis advocates passionately for parties on both sides of the “v” as she represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil matters including matrimonial law, real estate law and transactions, medical malpractice, personal injury actions, contract disputes, corporate formation, civil rights matters, estate planning and litigation and matters involving state, local and municipal law.
 

Ms. Katsorhis has substantial transactional experience, particularly in the field of real estate law. She is frequently appointed by the Court as referee in foreclosure actions and is also often appointed as Receiver in actions to protect various properties. Nicole’s substantial knowledge of real estate law along with her background in litigation provides her clients with the utmost confidence when they come to Nicole to handle their real estate needs, from simple residential matters to more complex commercial transactions.
Throughout her career, Ms. Katsorhis has represented countless families, including LGBTQ+ families, as they navigate all areas of family law throughout New York City and Long Island. Nicole’s vast experience in her family law practice has enabled her to successfully litigate for her clients’ rights to child custody and support as well as all related real estate matters intertwined within divorce proceedings.
 

Ms. Katsorhis also assists families in the estate planning process from setting up a comprehensive will and power of attorney plan to helping family members contest a will, if necessary.

Ms. Katsorhis graduated from St. John’s University School of Law in 2001 and was admitted to practice in New York in 2002. Nicole is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York (2005).
 

Beyond her work for The Katsorhis Law Firm, Ms. Katsorhis serves on the parish council for her church and offers her services as counsel for the church. In addition, she served as a volunteer arbitrator for Queens County Small Claims Court.
